Land Securities announces multi-property partnership with film and photographic location agency, The CollectivePress release
Land Securities has announced a new partnership with London’s leading film location agency The Collective, which will see all film, television and photographic enquiries exclusively managed across its London and Retail portfolio.
The collection of Land Securities’ most iconic and versatile properties, such as One New Change, 20 Fenchurch Street and numerous locations across Victoria offers film and TV productions shooting in the UK the opportunity to access dramatic panoramic rooftops, futuristic office spaces and premium shopping centres. The partnership comes as filming in the capital continues to cement London’s position as the third busiest film production centre in the world behind New York and Los Angeles.
Currently 75% of the UK’s film production industry is based in and around London, with £1bn out of a total £1.4bn UK spend invested in the capital in 2014. Unique shooting locations, technical expertise and tax relief incentives make London attractive for film and high end TV productions such as Paddington, The Imitation Game, Mr Turner, Avengers: Age of Ultron and Mr Selfridge.
Richard Isom, Mall Retail and Brand Partnerships Manager at Land Securities, said, “Our portfolio includes some of the most photogenic and diverse office and retail destinations in the country. As such, we are excited to be showcasing the uniqueness of our properties through this partnership with The Collective, while also supporting a growing industry that helps to drive the UK economy.”
Antony Iredale, Managing Director at The Collective, said, “We are delighted to be working with Land Securities, representing this exciting portfolio and bringing it to the UK film industry. With a location to suit any brief, we anticipate great demand from productions filming in and around London this summer.”Back to news list
